Preparing for the Formula Student Germany 2010

Howdy,

yep. We’re broadcasting the whole Formula Student Germany 2010 event. Starting on Wednesday, 4th of August at 9.30pm with the Team Welcome. Our team is especially excited about the FSE Night Race taking place on Saturday!

Last year, some viewers reported latency problems while watching the stream from overseas. So this year, we’re going to set up two additional streaming-servers in North-America and Asia. Hopefully this will increase your viewing experience. Actually, this means we’re switching our whole streaming infrastructure from Windows Media to Flash-Video (h.264) making it easier to access the live stream.

In addition, the current formulastudent.tv website will be completely replaced with a new content-management-system. This major update will provide a lot of new features … finally!

Formula Student 2010 Calendar

I am pretty sure that some of the Formula Student Teams produce a yearly calendar like this one from Team Starcraft (Ilmenau).

Today, I was wondering if sending me your team’s calendar would increase uploading speed and content management development for FormulaStudent.TV. By the way: Thanks for the chocolate from the DUT Formula Student Racing Team.

Yeaahaw. You Formula Student enthusiastic rock! Personally, I have no idea how to build a car. But the whole Formula Student Streaming Team and I really love this event and are happy being part of it since 2007.
